SHOCKING UPDATE ON RECENT DELIVERY OF MONKEYS TO LABCORP

A total of 160 endangered macaque monkeys were flown from Vietnam as cargo, detained in tiny boxes, finally arriving at Manchester Airport, then transported by convicted drug driver Morgan’s company Impex Services International to Labcorp, Huntingdon

This archaic industry has been built on a network of exploitation, and relies on the close links formed over the years within that system- as seen in the importation of macaques

As you may be aware, when activists closed down the now deceased Peter Savage’s Shamrock monkey facility, in the UK, Savage continued trading non human primates from inside HLS (now Labcorp) utilising and developing his mutually beneficial relationships with both a customer like HLS and Vietnamese monkey suppliers, like Nafovanny

These monkeys need every one of us to act- if you’ve seen the footage from April this year, you know what’s happening to them

We have to get out there, challenge the system and confront every stinking layer of its exploitation!

However many times you visit this vile place, in whichever of its various incarnations, it doesn’t get easier, as the sheer misery is always present

And more so after seeing the sickening footage from here, released in April, showing dogs, monkeys, rats, rabbits and pigs being systematically poisoned to death

But it was good being with so many long term activists, and friends again this evening, in solidarity with our fellow animals who are being detained by Labcorp Huntingdon

The workers leaving, after another day spent making a living from exploitation on an industrial scale, were confronted with some very uncomfortable truths

Thank you to everyone who came along, to loudly challenge this contract toxicity testing facility and the system in which it exists

Thermo Fisher Scientific were visited by activists from Manchester Animal Rights Network today, who called out their involvement in animal testing

On the one hand, Thermo Fisher Scientific share details on social media of their benevolent activities with dog and cat charities- on the other they’re supporting MBR Acres, who breed, detain & then supply beagles to be poisoned to death

Shockingly hypocritical and nonsensical 🤷

Information received suggests under the cover of darkness RAF-Avia flew long-tailed macaques, an Endangered species, into Manchester Airport tonight for a UK contract testing laboratory.

A shocking and barbaric trade for our regional airport to be part of. Especially during the summer holidays where the airport plays a major part in families jetting off on breaks away.
Yet across the runway in the freight terminal, terrified monkeys in tiny wooden transport crates who have been torn from their families, are being trafficked to their deaths.

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀, 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀❗️

The next shareholding council to be educated is Bolton Council at their next full council meeting. Will you come and help let these councillors know what they're unknowingly involved in? And that if all the supportive councils work together, they CAN help to stop this?

With the use of imported, Endangered long-tailed macaques increasing in UK laboratories, and the amount imported this year so far is an increase on last year's figures, the monkeys situation is desperate now.
