HR Generalist
Location: Florence, AL | Full-Time
Global Fire Sprinklers, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HR Generalist to support and manage day-to-day human resources operations while helping foster a positive and productive workplace. This position plays a vital role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support across the organization.
Position Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting all major human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, policy implementation, payroll support, and employee record management.
Human Resources Operations
Support and administer daily HR department functions; coordinate recruiting, onboarding, background checks, employee records, performance management support, leave administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain policies and procedures, manage employment reporting requirements, conduct investigations, and maintain required records.
Benefits & Payroll Support
Administer employee benefits, coordinate open enrollment, assist employees with benefits questions, and support payroll administration processes.
Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and workforce planning, provide HR guidance, participate in management meetings, and build strong relationships throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a Generalist, HR Coordinator, or related HR role. Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification preferred. Construction, service, or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
