September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we are excited to introduce a fun new incentive to celebrate great attendance across our school: The Monthly Attendance Challenge!

Each month, we will track class attendance across all grade levels. The classroom with the highest overall attendance wins our Traveling Attendance Banner to display proudly right outside their door for the entire month!

Congratulations to Mr. Noel’s 5th grade class who claimed the August crown. We can’t wait to see which class takes home the banner for September!

How You Can Help at Home:
Build the Habit: Aim for consistent routines for bedtime and morning wake-up times. Make sure students are on time!!
Plan Ahead: Whenever possible, schedule doctor appointments or family travel outside of school hours.
Reach Out: If your student is facing challenges getting to school, please let us know—we are here to support you!

We are excited to announce our first Well Dressed Wednesday of the school year on Wednesday, September 2nd! Well Dressed Wednesday is a special Weeden tradition and is set asides as a day for students and staff to come together in professional attire or their "Sunday best." By participating, our students help build a positive school culture, practice career readiness, and get a great confidence boost. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their absolute best!
