Cherokee County Public Library The library is committed to improving literacy and fostering lifelong learning.

We offer programs for children and adults, computer lab, wi-fi, copier, conference room, fax and scanning services, an extensive genealogy and local history room with access to Ancestry.com Library Edition and Family Search.org as an Affiliate Library, and four friendly librarians to serve your information needs. To apply for a library card, you must live, work, or own property in Cherokee County

or reside in the adjoining counties of DeKalb, Calhoun, or Etowah. You must also provide an alternate contact (the name, address, and phone number of a Cherokee County resident who is not a relative or member of your household); a form of id such as a driver's license, and a piece of mail (in the envelope) with your name and address on it to indicate that you are receiving mail at the address listed on your application.
