🍂 WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH CENTRE PARKS & RECREATION? ⚽🏀
We’ve got a lot going on at CPRD! Here’s a look at what’s coming up and a few important dates to keep in mind.
⚽ SOCCER SEASON FINALES
6U Soccer: Last day is October 26.
8U & 10U Soccer: Last day is November 2.
It's been absolute pleasure to work with this group of coaches.
🏀 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
Basketball registration closes November 9! Be sure to get registered on RecDesk before the deadline. We’ll be announcing dates for basketball evaluations, coaches’ meetings, and other important details soon. If you are interested in coaching please contact us.
🏗️ CENTRE GYMNASIUM CLOSURE
Beginning November 1, the Centre Gymnasium will close for Phase 3 of construction. This will certainly present some challenges as we work through the basketball season, but with the support of our community and surrounding gyms, we’re confident we’ll get through it together. We appreciate your patience and support as we continue improving our facilities! We are extremely excited for the upgrades!
🍁 GET OUT AND ENJOY FALL!
Recently, we shared a schedule of local fall festivals, trick-or-treat events, and other seasonal activities. If you haven’t seen that post yet, be sure to check it out! We encourage everyone to get out, enjoy the cooler weather, support local events, and soak up everything this beautiful season has to offer.
💪 SENIOR WELLNESS PROGRAM
Our tentative start date for the new Senior Wellness Program is November 5 at the Mary G. Waite Community Center, with Donna Young serving as the instructor.
And here’s the best part: There is no age limit for this program! If you believe this program could benefit you, we encourage you to come out and participate. We want to provide opportunities for everyone in our community to stay active and well.
More information about the wellness program is coming soon!
As always, thank you for your continued support of Centre Parks & Recreation. We’re working hard to provide opportunities for our community, and we appreciate you being part of it! ❤️
