🌽Veggie Bucks at the Johnson County Farmers Market!🍅

Make plans to join us this July for a fun and educational experience the whole family will enjoy! Each week brings fresh flavors, hands-on learning, and opportunities to explore healthy foods together.

📅 Dates: July 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2026
⏰ Time: 4:00–6:00 PM
📍 Location: Johnson County Farmers Market Pavilion

✨ What to expect:
• Read-aloud of a produce-themed book
• JCPL Book Mobile on site for book checkouts
• Delicious recipe samples to try
• 💵 $5 Veggie Bucks for youth ages 1–17 to spend on fresh produce.
• 📚 First 5 households receive a FREE book!

This is a great way to encourage kids to try new fruits and vegetables while supporting our local farmers. Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon at the market! 🌱

Barry Mitchell presents his Fossil Funhouse show, complete with puppets and magic tricks as our end of summer reading celebration. This event will take place on June 30th at 11AM and 6PM located at the Paintsville Recreation Center.

Summer Reading will be every Wednesday, June 3rd - June 24th. All teens are invited to report to Camp Digby for the Summer Reading Program at the Johnson County Public Library. Earn your camp nickname, create fun crafts, and solve mysteries at our weekly camp meetings. We’ll see you there, campers!

Summer Reading will be every Wednesday, June 3rd - June 24th. This summer, we are going underground to unearth epic stories! Our Summer Reading Program will uncover a new theme each week through books, activities, and even treasure. Please make plans to join us at the Johnson County Public Library!
