On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, Brian Keith Moore, loving husband of Beverly (Hewlett) Moore, father of Tori and Kaylen Moore, and son of Dewey and Kay Moore, passed away at the age of 41 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
Brian was born on July 4, 1979 in West Liberty, Kentucky. He graduated high school in Sandy Hook, Kentucky and later pursued a career in the Fire/EMS field. He served for the last several years as a paramedic/fire fighter for the Paintsville Fire Department and fire instructor for KCTCS state fire and rescue. Brian also served as the Chapter 28 President of Brother's Keepers Motorcycle Club.
Brian lived for his family, his community, and for his friends. He had a compassion to serve. No matter if it was entering a burning building, rescuing people by boat, or just placing a bandage on, he showed up. He loved his motorcycle and riding with his brothers and sisters, usually for charity. Most of all, he just loved life.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Johnson Central High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Thursday, 9:00am to 9:00pm Friday and after 10:00am Saturday at Johnson Central High School. Masonic Services will be held at 7:00pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Jason Ison will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Brother's Keepers Motorcycle Club by contacting the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, (606)789-8989 or by calling (606)226-0350.
