‼️Update: This juvenile has been located, we thank everyone for all their help in this matter.

Paintsville Police Department is looking for any information in regards to a location of this juvenile, Kailee Sparks. She was last seen on August 21, 2026 at approximately 08:00 walking towards McDonalds in Paintsville.

If anyone has information please contact the Paintsville Police Department or your local law enforcement agency.

The Paintsville Police Department is proud to welcome our newest patrol officer, Mr. Chase Owens, to the department.

Officer Owens is a graduate and former football student-athlete of the University of Pikeville (UPIKE), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the Paintsville Police Department, he served three years as a Public Safety Officer at UPIKE, gaining valuable experience in public safety and service to the community.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Officer Owens enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through fitness and working out.

If you see Officer Owens out, give him a warm welcome to our community. We look forward to the impact he will have on our community.

Paintsville Police Department will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints at the below locations, additional locations may be added at anytime. Traffic safety checkpoints may be conducted at various times, 24 hours day, 7 days a week.
