New sidewalks, bike lanes, crosswalks and landscaping: we’ve connected Downtown Elk Rapids to Ames Street, bringing more foot traffic to 20+ local businesses. Projects like this show how investing in placemaking strengthens the local economy and makes Michigan communities a better place to live, work and visit.

Allow us to (re)introduce ourselves.

🚜 We coordinate small business grants for local business, like Bee Wise Farms LLC in Newberry, so they can grow sustainably.

💡 We back local founders big ideas through programs like the PitchMI startup competition.

🔋 We attract major employers like LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc to create new jobs right here in Michigan.

🤝 We connect business owners to hands-on mentorship through our Small Business Support Hubs, like Ann Arbor SPARK.

🏫 We beautify downtowns, like Howell Downtown, through our Michigan Main Street program.

🛝 We fund local parks and playgrounds, like this one in Escanaba, for families to enjoy.

👷 We support community revitalization projects through the Michigan Strategic Fund.

These are just some of the ways we help build a better and stronger Michigan for everyone.
