The Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act helps protect individuals from discrimination, including in housing, reinforcing the principle that everyone deserves the opportunity to live in a safe, stable home.

Because housing is for everyone.

Homeownership can change more than your address, it can change your trajectory.

For Brian, MSHDA's down payment assistance program made the difference between continuing to rent and finally owning a home of his own. With MI 10K DPA, he was able to purchase a home, improve his credit score, and give his dogs their own backyard.

Today, he has a place that's truly his and the stability to keep building toward the future. Learn how MSHDA's MI 10K DPA program can help make home happen: michigan.gov/homeownership.
