Good morning all, I know the last couple of days has been extraordinarily stressful due to all of the severe weather and tornado activity in St Clair County. I also know that we caused some confusion with the lack of cross streets for the Bryce Rd activation of the warning siren system.

I wanted to explain that…my staff and I were in the county Emergency Operations Center and I knew the info and alert needed to go out immediately. We put out the information just as we received it due to the zero minute alert situation we found ourselves in.

As always in our world of work, we reviewed our activity over the last two days and will due our very best to always ensure our communities, visitors and businesses in St Clair County are properly alerted to any and all threats just as soon as we are made aware that a threat exists.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any concerns. You can reach our office via email anytime at [email protected]

Have a great weekend and enjoy time with friends and family as we wrap up another wonderful summer season!
