If you are a Veteran from any branch of service or you know a Veteran bring them to the Port Huron Township Hall Saturday, Nov 7th from 10 am to Noon. Let's share some coffee and conversation as we say Thank you Veterans!

Port Huron Township Heritage Museum will be welcoming guests that day as well. And DON'T FORGET to check out the Steam Engine and Thrasher under our newly constructed pavilion too!

🚧 Port Huron Township-Atkins Road from 700’ west of S. Charmwood Dr to Beach Road
🚧Construction on Atkins Road is set to begin on September 30, 2026. Road reconstruction includes trench widening, crushing/shaping/stabilizing existing asphalt, repaving roadway with asphalt and new aggregate shoulders. Construction will be completed under a full road closure. Traffic will be detoured using West Water Road. Local traffic will be maintained within the construction zone, including to homes and businesses. Local residents and emergency vehicles will have access to local properties throughout the entire project. Local residents are encouraged to plan for delays due to construction. We request your cooperation and patience. Construction is anticipated to take approximately 3 weeks. All scheduling and project dates are subject to change depending on weather. This project is financed by the St. Clair County Road Commission and Port Huron Township at a total estimated cost for construction of $691,912.53. The prime contractor is Ace Saginaw Paving.

Today, Port Huron Township proudly moved the Traction Engine and Thresher out of the storage building and into the brand new pavilion where it will stay housed openly. Supervisor Lewandowski is grateful and proud to finally be able to share this piece of our townships rich farming history with our community. Special thanks to our DPW Superintendent and crew for making the move possible. All are welcome and encouraged to come out and view the equipment. The pavilion is located just behind the township hall 3800 Lapeer Rd and adjacent to the Heritage Museum.
We do ask that when you visit please be respectful when visiting and do not climb on the farm equipment, it is for viewing only.
