Although it can be uncomfortable, it is common, and there are a few things you can try to get relief! 👶🌟 Lightly massage your breast from the plugged duct down to the ni**le before and during breastfeeding. 🌟 Apply ice or cold packs. 🌟 Breastfeed on demand and use different positions. 🌟 Empty the affected breast first.

Beach Monitoring Resumes in St. Clair County.

The St. Clair County Health Department (SCCHD) resumed its Bathing Beach Monitoring Program. This program tests recreational waters at eight of the county’s public beaches for E. coli. Monitored beaches include: Lakeport State Park (Lakeport), Fort Gratiot County Beach (Fort Gratiot), Keewahdin Road Beach (Fort Gratiot), Lakeside Beach (Port Huron), Holland Road Beach (Port Huron), Lighthouse Beach (Port Huron), Chrysler Beach (Marysville), and Marine City Beach (Marine City).

Toothfully, kids learn better when their teeth are healthy. When oral health problems are treated and children are no longer experiencing pain, their ability to learn and school attendance improve. Medicaid or CHIP cover eligible children up to age 19, and benefits include dental care. The Health Department’s Outreach Services can help individuals and families determine eligibility for Medicaid and CHIP. Application assistance and referrals are available.
