Concerned Motorist's Call Leads to DUII Arrest

Earlier this week, OSP received a report from a concerned motorist about an erratic driver on Interstate 84 in eastern Oregon. OSP troopers located the vehicle traveling more than 110 mph and failing to maintain its lane.

Troopers stopped the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver for DUII.

Impairment and excessive speed are a dangerous combination. Both reduce a driver's ability to react to changing roadway conditions, increasing the risk of a serious crash. OSP encourages everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride and make responsible choices behind the wheel.

If you see concerning driving behavior on Oregon's highways, call OSP (*677).
