It's time to celebrate our CPAs across the state! 🎉🎉

We had a great time celebrating our new CPAs and our CPAs with 50, 55, 60, and 65 years of service on May 2nd! In front of a crowd of more than 200, our honorees were presented with a framed certificate and pin honoring their years of service, while our new CPAs took the CPA pledge and were presented their certificates. We heard a great keynote from Representative Gerrid Kendrix, CPA who serves as the Oklahoma State Representative for District 52.

We also honored two board members, Bryan Storms, CPA and Jody Manning. They are leaving the Board at the end of June, and we thank them for their service!

We were so pleased to have the Spears School of Business - Oklahoma State University, East Central University, Northeastern State University, and the UCO College of Business there to celebrate with their students!

As always, we thank the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, the IRS, and Council of Petroleum Acountants Societies- COPAS - Oklahoma City Chapter for their help and support with this celebration!

Last night, Governor Stitt signed HB 4317 into law, effectively widening the doorway to become a CPA in our great state.

Thank you to the Oklahoma Accountancy Board for their efforts, our members for your feedback and involvement, and the Oklahoma Legislature and Governor Stitt for supporting workforce development in the accounting profession by unanimously supporting our bill this session!
