Changing your password after a scam is a smart first step, but sometimes it’s not enough. Criminals can install malware on your device that allows them to keep accessing your information even after your credentials are updated. TRIAD Director Staff Sergeant Tara Hardin with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office explains why cleaning an infected device is just as important as changing your passwords.

WE LOVE A HAPPY ENDING! We've had cases of people trying to break out of the Oklahoma County Jail before, but this is the first time we've caught someone trying to break in. Deputy Lane Davenport was on his way to the detention center when he spotted a man by the south wall, using a shovel to dig. 32 year old Jake Minervini-Blue told Deputy Davenport that his girlfriend was inside the jail. He later changed his statement and claimed he was just planning to plant a flower there. Turns out he had an out-of-state warrant, so Deputy Davenport brought him into the jail the easy way, through booking (Much easier than tunneling your way in). As he was being booked, detention officers discovered he had a ferro rod, used for building fires, hidden up his re**um. Happy Ending: Mr. Minervini-Blue has been reunited with his girlfriend behind the bars of the Oklahoma County Jail.

Every week, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Deputies rescue pets that have been abandoned by their owners, so we are teaming up with the OKC Animal Shelter to try to get some of these pets into forever homes. In Today's "Forever Home Wednesday", Msgt. Joe Hagar introduces us to Darla. Darla is a seven year old heterochromatic (Two different colored eyes--both beautiful) Pitt Mix. She was repeatedly bred by a heartless former owner, but despite that, she is the sweetest girl you'll meet. Everyone at the shelter adores her and loves giving her much appreciated belly rubs. She is ready and available for adoption now. Please hit like and share.
