We're always WORKING FOR YOU!

Line maintenance and rebuilding projects help ensure long-term reliability. Here's a tentative look at some of the linework your co-op will be conducting this spring / summer:

Construction crews (Kenton Area)
The construction crew will be working in the Kenton area on County Rd. 90 (west of County Rd. 135) and along State Route 309, west of Kenton.

Construction crew (Marion Area)
In Marion, crews will be working around State Route 95 (east of Marion) and State Route 746 (east of Marion).

Contracted crews will be rebuilding primary overhead lines and conducting pole replacements in Sonnanstine neighborhood (north of Marion).

Other projects
Co-op personnel will be working in Lynn, Meeker, and Route 31 substations to upgrade equipment to improve overall reliability.

Oberlander's Tree & Landscaping will be performing tree trimming and right-of-way maintenance around the following substations: Wildcreek (E of Kenton, around Larue), Uncapher (W of Marion, N of Prospect), and Rengert (SE of Marion, around Cardington/Waldo).

In the May issue of Ohio Cooperative Living, we remember the legacy of former cooperative trustee Eugene Royer. Royer served as a trustee for 33 years and was a passionate supporter of the cooperative.

Eugene worked for 35 years at Rockwell-Arvin Meritor in Kenton and was a lifelong farmer. As a result he brought insight rooted in common sense, experience, and an understanding of rural life to the board room.

He served two terms as board chairman and served as Mid-Ohio Energy's representative on the Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives board from 1999 - 2012.
