Our garden is really taking off now and I think its going to grow monstrous produce! As of yet, we have a HUGE zucchini, pattypan squash, and cucumber, along with a few smaller produce too! But on the plus side, we finally have more fresh produce! So be sure to get your requests in now for your selected food items! We also still have LOTS and LOTS of lettuce that needs to be consumed so if you'd like some, we would be more than happy to oblige! We should also have lots of types of tomatoes and peppers soon as well!

Hey there! Just a friendly reminder, we still have a pretty decent amount of our lettuces and spinach that is ready to be harvested any time, if anyone is interested! If you are interested, just comment on our page somewhere or send us a private message and let us know what you'd like and we can set up a time for us to get it to you!

If you're curious to see what kind of lettuces we have to offer, just scroll through our pictures in the photo album "The Next Step..." and you'll see all the varieties that we have to offer! :)

Also, very soon we should have much more produce to offer, as well as setting up hours for our farm to be open for public visiting so that our wonderful customers can come and check out our produce for themselves and even pick what they want straight from the plants! So make sure to stay updated on all the great events coming up here at the Elsasser Farm!

Thank goodness for the rain! It may seem like the rain is never going to stop, but we sure are thankful for all of the rain that we've recieved here at the Elsasser Farm! Because of all the rain, our garden has really taken off! We decided to do a second planting of carrots a couple of weeks ago because our first planting didn't turn out as well as we had hoped, and now our second planting is turning out to be phenomenal!

In addition, we do have a bit of lettuce and spinach ready for harvest and have harvested a bit of it already! It's all truly delicious! We have both green and greenish/red leaf/bib type lettuce, red romaine, and green round-leaf style lettuce as well as Bloomsdale spinach, which is a type of spinach with pointy/star-like leaves that are very crisp and refreshing! Let us know if you'd like some!

We're also in the process right now of uploading some newer pictures from around the garden, showing how huge and fast our plants are growing! We have several grape- and cherry-type tomatoes on now that will be ripe before too long and just a few regular-sized tomatoes as well, to look forward to! Just about everything in the garden has at least a few buds/blooms on and lots of the plants even have the first signs of produce, which you'll see in the newest pictures!

So stay tuned for much more fresh, organic, heirloom produce to come, and don't forget to let us know what and when you would like to have from us at the Elsasser Farm! And of course, share our page with your friends and family! Because the more you share and help us out, the more we can expand and in turn help you out by supplying you with the highest quality organic and heirloom produce in Hardin County!

So our garden is turning out to be quite a treat this year! It's so much nicer with it being 4 times the size of last year and we have SO much growing! All of our plants are really taking off and we should have lots of great produce very soon!

At the moment, we still have lots of tart cherries being harvested so those are up for offer! If you're interested in any produce that we have to offer currently, or would even like to "call dibs" on something that we have planted that isn't quite producing yet, all you have to do is either post on our wall here and state what you'd like and an idea of how much, send us a private message, or even use the phone number listed in our About Me page and text in your request! There's lots of ways to get involved! And of course, you're always more than welcome to come and pick the exact produce that you want, right from the plants!

Also, very soon we should have lots of lettuces and spinach ready for harvest! We have 4 different varities of lettuce that each have their own special characteristics and all are quite pleasing to the eye! We should also have beans coming very soon as well! These are soup-type beans though, good for soups, stews, etc. or even for drying!

And as always, don't forget to share our page with all of your friends, family, and acquaintances and help us spread the word!

Everything is turning out EXTREMELY well! We're very happy with the way things are starting off this year! Already, almost all of our crops are coming along very well and growing rapidly! It's amazing how fantastic plants grow, with only the help of natural rain water and the naturally-occuring minerals in the soil! No need for chemicals here!

We've also uploaded some great new pictures from around the farm! Make sure to check them out! In addition, we have quite a few tart cherries ripening already, in addition to the purple basil and giant Italian parsley, in case anyone is interested in acquiring any of those, let us know! Our goal is to share as much of our produce as possible, to show people just how fantastic naturally-grown, organic heirloom produce can be! And if you obtain produce from us later this year, don't forget to save your seeds and dry them, because with all of our seeds being 100% heirloom variety, that means that the seeds produced from the harvested vegetables can be saved and re-planted next year! So you can even grown the same plants that we have in your own garden next year!

Also, don't forget to spread the word about our farm and our page here! It's our fantastic and loyal customers and fans that keep us going and make it possible for us to do what we do! And as always, thanks so much for doing what you do!
