The hub for research, study, & community at Knox College. But you're going to like more about it than its looks.

With its white limestone exterior and classic lead and stained-glass windows looking out on the green central campus, Seymour Library is a fixture of Knox College campus for students and visitors alike. Inside, its mixture of classic architectural designs - including quarter-sawn oak paneling and wooden ceiling trusses over a centerpiece elevated reading room - and modern, renovated rooms and facilities, makes Seymour Library a fitting visual metaphor for the College's embrace of history, tradition and a modern outlook. High-tech research resources, expert staff and user-friendly facilities combine to make Seymour Library among the best college libraries in the nation.

Feeling bittersweet as our first ever Summer Challenge comes to an end on Monday. Join us in the Abolition Lab in Seymour Library for our finale event!
Did you miss the fun events we had over the summer? No worries! We are bringing them all back for our grand finale! There will be games, there will be bad art, there will be book binding, there will be snacks, and, most importantly, there will be a grand prize!🤩

The event starts at 4pm. Be sure to get there in time to submit any entries from reading prompts completed by 4:30, because that is when entries close. We will do the drawing for the grand prize at 5:30!

Reminder about our craft corner happening tomorrow! Also, there has been a location change: we will now be in the Abolition Lab on the first floor.

Can't wait to see you there!

Get your craft on this Tuesday, August 18th, in the ABOLITION LAB (location change)! Our librarians are hosting a craft corner from 2-4pm. Bring any craft you are working on or come learn a new craft! We'll be demonstrating fly tying, crochet, knitting, and cross stitch.

This is our last event before our wrap-up event on September 14th! Attend to get another entry into the grand prize drawing for the Seymour Library Summer Challenge.
