Meet Jeff, a Beaverton resident, Home Team member, and director at large of Evergreen Curling Club. We recently sat down with him and his wife at Mutts Coffee to learn more about why they support HomePlate.
Jeff originally spotted us from across the street at his dentist in 2022. He and his wife started giving after learning more, and became monthly donors in 2024. Jeff has lived in Beaverton for decades, and spent his career teaching in Beaverton schools.
He knows what it looks like when a young person puts on a happy face all day, and he knows school is sometimes the safest place in their life. One thing he likes about HomePlate is that there is another safe place for youth to go, right down the road from his curling club.
His advice on monthly giving? Give at a level that feels comfortable for you, and trust that every amount adds up to something that truly matters.
