For over 25 years, Rebuilding Together Washington County has been dedicated to providing free small to midsize repairs for low-income homeowners in our community. Our work has brought comfort, safety, and stability to countless families, ensuring that everyone has a place to call home.

However, the impact of COVID-19 has been profound. Like many organizations, we have faced a significant decrease in grant funding and donations. Despite these challenges, the need for our services has never been greater as our community continues to rebuild and recover from the pandemic's effects.
We urgently need your support to continue our mission. Your generous donation will enable us to carry out essential repairs and improvements, helping to restore hope and dignity to those in need. Together, we can ensure that every homeowner in Washington County lives in a safe and healthy environment.

In light of National Energy Awareness Month, NW Natural is offering free weatherization services to Washington County customers with qualifying incomes.

Through a partnership with local nonprofit Community Action, the utility company is offering upgrades including home insulation, new gas furnaces or hot water heaters, and sealing air leaks.”

We couldn’t have said it better! We love our board members and also are looking to grow our board. Are you looking for a way to get involved? You don’t need to have repair skills to join- what we need are dedicated people who are willing to help an organization change and continue to work in our community.

🏠❤️ I Love Rebuilding Together Washington County! ❤️🏠

In 1973, a group of compassionate volunteers in Midland, Texas, set out to make a difference in their community. Devoting one day in April to repairing the homes of low-income, elderly, and disabled neighbors, they sparked a movement that would change lives across the country. 🤝✨

Rebuilding Together is now a nationwide effort with a mission to provide home repair and rehabilitation to those in need, so they can continue living in warmth, safety, and independence. With nearly 200 affiliates in all 50 states, this incredible nonprofit has touched the hearts of countless individuals, including those in Washington County. 🌎🏡

In 1993, a powerful coalition of community organizations, churches, businesses, civic groups, and caring individuals came together to form Rebuilding Together Washington County (RTWC). Becoming an official 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1994, RTWC's first program, National Rebuilding Day, happens every last Saturday in April. On this day, RTWC volunteers work tirelessly on 8-30 homes, transforming lives and creating a positive impact. 🛠️🔧

But the mission doesn't end there! With the increased need for home repairs, RTWC has expanded its efforts, operating a year-round program as a certified contractor. Through the dedication of hundreds of volunteers, they continue to bring hope and change to the lives of our community members in need. 🙏❤️

I am incredibly proud to be one of the board members for Rebuilding Together Washington County. The staff and board members are committed to making a difference in the lives of our fellow neighbors. 🏍️ Who is ready for a Poker Run 🃏

The Washington County A.BA.T.E Chapter is hosting a bike run and poker game with delicious BBQ to finish the run!

Hey Community Superheroes!

We know summer gets busy, but there is still work to do🏚️. We are looking for volunteers for 3️⃣ upcoming paint projects. These are mobile homes which could face EVICTION if they are not in compliance.

☕️ Coffee and doughnuts 🍩 to get you going and lunch around noon will be provided. Please pick a project that works for you and give me a call 971-205-0051 so I can put you on the list and include you in emails. We are also open to work groups, church groups, high school and college groups participating.

Nothing feels better than spending a day helping one of our neighbors 🏘️. Come join us, you won't regret it.

⛏️Saturday June 24th - Forest Grove - 9am - 3pm
This home is a mobile home. It has vinyl siding, so we will only be painting trim and skirting. This one also has a notice from the park management.

🔩Saturday July 15th - Tualatin - 9am - 3pm
This home just needs to be finished. The eaves under the carport and a lot of touch up.

🪛 Friday Sept 8 or 15th - Hillsboro - 9am - 3pm
This home is a single wide mobile home
