[email protected] No Panic is a national registered charity, (number 1018184) that helps and supports those living with Panic Attacks, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and other related anxiety disorders. No Panic's guiding philosophy

is that people can and do recover from mental health issues (however severe they may be), and go on to live lives of their own choosing if they are provided with tailored made needs. All our recovery services are provided over the telephone or internet which allow enormous flexibility, comfort and confidentiality to those we support. We aim to offer immediate help to those in urgent need through the helpline/crisis line, our website chat service and social media.

For we are highlighting our student placement volunteer of the year. Throughout the year, students from partner universities write articles, which we publish on our blog.

Halima Begum from the University of Westminster wrote as many articles as we asked her to write. She made them more engaging and interesting by including experiences of anxiety. Here is a top example.

by Halima Begum, Content Team academic Anxiety normally begins during adolescence (National Library of Medicine, 2024), with more and more teenagers either being diagnosed with anxiety or experiencing anxiety-like symptoms. My first experience with anxiety was when I was 11 years old. I was starti...

Do you have exams coming up? Are they already starting to stress you out? Are you dreading them. Fear not. You can read our contributor Tom's tips for managing exam anxiety, and give them a go before your anxiety begins. By the time they begin, you may have developed a good routine which reduces your anxiety, so you can focus on doing your best in your exams.

By Tom Swarbrick, Content Team contributor It’s important to learn and implement healthy routines and practices for coping with this anxiety before it lays dormant long enough to have lasting impacts on one’s quality of life. But how exactly should you go about managing exam anxiety?

For this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week, the theme is Taking Action 💙

But taking action for your mental health doesn’t always have to come in big steps. Sometimes, it looks like slowing down long enough to notice when your cup is running low… and giving yourself permission to refill it.

A walk.
Fresh air.
Rest.
Creativity.
Connection.
A quiet moment to breathe.

Small actions can often matter the most. Especially the ones that help you feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.

This week, let this be your reminder to make space for the things that pour back into you, too. ☕💙
What helps fill your cup? We’d love to know.
