Today’s the day our Sexual Assault Support Group with Underground Railroad, Inc. begins!!

Join us this evening for an open group designed to offer connection, understanding, and support for individuals of all genders. There’s no pressure to share and no expectation to attend every session. This is designed to be a safe space so you don’t have to navigate healing alone.

🗓 First & third Wednesdays of each month
⏰ 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Snacks will be provided, and childcare is available upon request.

Whether today feels like the right time or you’re simply keeping this in mind for the future, support is here; on your terms, at your pace.

Thank you so much to the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region for their generous donations to our shelter! 🥰 It means the world to us when local organizations take the time to collect needed items that allow us to continue serving survivors in our community. You guys rock! 🥳

Today is the start of Pride Month! Pride provides us with an opportunity to celebrate, to learn, and to reflect on the accomplishments and challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone deserves to have happy, healthy relationships and everyone deserves to live without fear of harm.

At Underground Railroad, we proudly serve ALL victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and will continue to show up for and support the LGBTQIA+ community! Happy Pride!

BIG Thank You 🫶 going out to two groups who helped us out immensely in the past week: Saginaw Chamber of Commerce and Dow both brought amazing volunteers to our Shelter to help with painting, yardwork, and moving items in our kitchen in anticipation of an upcoming remodel. We appreciate all the work you put in - it means the world to us and to those we serve!! 🥰💝

If kids like Brynlee are the future, we’re in good hands!! Thanks Swan Valley Middle Schoolers!

Swan Valley Middle School student Brynlee Quellet spearheaded a campaign to make Mother's Day gift bags for the women at the Underground Railroad. The women were gifted with decoraged bags filled with snacks and treats. We hope they felt the support from our students !
