The Nature Center will be CLOSED April 3rd & 4th in observance of Good Friday and Easter. Regular hours will continue on April 7th 2pm - 8pm.
The Preserve will still be everyday dawn - dusk.

Something unique is currently happening in the preserve. Due to the large amount of rain and snow melt we have experienced, the preserve is currently flooded. This does not mean the preserve is closed, the trails are still open but we ask that you stay on the paved path.

This is the perfect time to capture a unique photo for the March Photo Contest. There is still one more week to capture and submit the perfect photo! The contest will close on Wednesday March 25th at 2pm and the winners will be announced on Tuesday March 31st.

We are at the half way point in the March Photo Contest! The weather is warming up and there is still time to come and capture the perfect picture. Armature photographers can enter for a change to be featured in the 2027 Thomas Township Nature Center and Preserve Calendar! You do not need special photography equipment, a cell phone works great! Get in nature and capture the beauty!

The Nature Preserve is OPEN EVERYDAY dawn - dusk!

The February Photo Contest has been extended until the end of March due to a lack of submissions. In the month of March there will be two winners for the 2027 Nature Center and Preserve Calendar. First place will receive March and second place will receive February.
This contest is for armature photographers to win a featured spot in the 2027 Nature Center and Preserve Calendar.
The February Contest and March Contest will begin March 1st and last until March 25th.
