Yesterday state and city officials, including Council President Rachel Miller (Ward 13) and Councilman Pedro Espinal (Ward 10), gathered together to encourage voters to vote yes on state ballot question 2 and city ballot question 6, measures that would allow Rhode Island and Providence to continue investing in affordable housing production.

“Investments in the affordable housing trust fund help close the gaps in critical projects. Working together with the administration we have invested in 1,600 future homes at rents that Providence’s working families can afford - and we know there’s more to do,” said President Miller. “Yes on 6 is a way for Providence to invest in our future.”
