The FBI - Boston is warning people about a rental scam. They have identified 40 victims in who have been scammed out of $52k.

The FBI has some good advice on how to avoid these scams in the 🔗 below.

As rents, home prices, and inflation surge in today’s highly competitive real estate market, FBI Boston is warning the public about the risk of rental scams, and the need to be cautious when posting and responding to advertisements for rental properties and real estate online.

Just because your home isn’t in a flood plain, doesn’t mean it won’t flood. Anywhere it rains – including – it can flood. Just 1 inch of water can cause approximately $25,000 or more of damage to your home.

We thank Governor Dan McKee and the General Assembly for helping to create a new pathway to becoming a CPA in Rhode Island. The new law addresses the growing shortage of Certified Public Accountants by giving aspiring professionals more flexible options to enter the field.
