CFBC staff and board members were honored to attend yesterday’s Phase 1 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Carpenter Nature Preserve in Zionsville. 🌿

This exciting milestone marks the first phase of development for what will become Boone County’s largest nature preserve and a new space for the community to explore and enjoy.

Projects like this are made possible through strong partnerships and a shared vision for enhancing quality of life across Boone County.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to invest in opportunities like this.

Yesterday’s coffee chat was a great reminder of the power of connection. ☕

Each month, we’re grateful for the opportunity to gather with nonprofit leaders from across Boone County to share updates, hear about what’s ahead, and stay connected to the work happening throughout our community. From organizations focused on basic needs and mental health to youth development, education, and more—every conversation reflects a shared commitment to serving Boone County.

Thank you to the BGCBoone for hosting, and to all who took the time to join us. We’re always better when we come together.

A meaningful investment in second chances. 💙

Today, members of the 2025–26 Boone County Leadership (BCL) cohort, alongside CFBC staff, presented the Boone County Indiana Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Tony Harris with a $5,000 grant to support inmates pursuing education while incarcerated.

This grant was made possible through a fundraising effort led by the cohort, along with a generous donor gift. After hearing presentations from three local organizations, cohort members selected this initiative through a collective vote - demonstrating thoughtful leadership and a shared commitment to impact.

We’re proud of this group for investing in opportunities that support growth, learning, and a stronger community for all.
