This week, as we get closer to Boone County Summer Fest 2026, we are introducing you to all the musical acts you and SEE FOR FREE this weekend!
First up is The Karate Girls Band. This high-energy, hilarious act will be closing things out on Friday, June 5th. KGB is a MUST SEE! They take the stage at 8...and hat's when the ride begins!
Make plans to join us that this FREE TO ATTEND event that is fun for ALL AGES!

Happening this weekend!

Get ready for a reel good time!

Join us for the annual Lebanon Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 6, at the Hot Pond, 700 E. Noble Street, Lebanon. This free event is open to children ages 5 to 17 and continues a 33-year tradition of bringing the community together through fun, family-friendly activities.

Event Schedule:
Registration: Begins at 8:00 a.m.
Fishing Begins: 8:30 a.m.
Prize Ceremony: 10:15 a.m. (awards by age group)

What to Bring:
A fishing pole
Bait
An adult (all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Participants will receive a bag of goodies donated by generous local businesses. After the lines are reeled in, kids can enjoy a free shaved ice treat from the Kona Ice Truck and complementary lunch featuring hot dogs and chips!

Upcoming closure

Upcoming Road Closure: On or after June 1st Park Street will be closed between East Fordice Street and West Busby Street. This closure is due to repairs to Bridge 310. This work is expected to take 25 days. The detour route will be East Street.
