The Mitten Tree project is always looking to engage new groups to participate in our collection to help needy children.
Any BOOK CLUBS, DINNER CLUBS, BRIDGE GROUPS, GREEK ALUMNI GROUPS, FRATERNAL ORDERS/LODGES, BIBLE STUDY GROUPS, or any other special interest groups like tennis/sports clubs, nature study groups, speaker bureaus, political clubs, hiking groups, etc., that would like to hold collections?
No need to notify us. Just show up with your donations and leave them by the tree or on the front porch at 425 N Taylor Ave. Take a picture of your group, if you’d like, and post it on this page!
Tree is usually up and operating by the first week of December. We will post it here when it’s ready for donations.
All donations (outerwear only-no monetary offerings) go to the Little Bit Foundation.
Help us keep little kids warm this winter!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who left donations for the Mitten Tree this 2025 holiday season. We were able to beat the incoming bad weather by a day and removed all the donations. They were all delivered to the Little Bit Foundation just before the extreme cold weather hit.
Your generous gifts helped warm the cold heads and hands of the children who needed it most. We are deeply grateful.
See you again in December!

Our last donation for the 2025 Mitten Tree! Thanks to the generous patron who left these cute gloves. Our apologies that we took the tree down two days early. We were trying to beat the rain.
