One week to go! 🌳

The 65th Annual Greentree Festival returns Sept. 18–20 to Kirkwood Park for a free weekend of live music, family activities, arts and crafts, food, the Greentree Parade and more.

This year, we’re celebrating 250 years of America and 65 years of Greentree.

Kirkwood City Council Work Session — Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The open session will be followed by a closed session in the Main Level Conference Room pursuant to Missouri Sunshine Law, RSMo Chapter 610.021(1), for legal matters.

Work Sessions provide an opportunity for the City Council to discuss upcoming issues, receive briefings from staff, and review policy matters. Per Kirkwood practice, Work Sessions are for Council discussion only and do not include a public comment portion.

Open session discussion topics:

- Approval of the September 3, 2026 Work Session Minutes
- Introduction of new Fire Marshall
- Storm Water Manual and Ordinance Discussion
- Water Department Appraisal Discussion
- Discussion of Future Work Session Agenda Topics

After the open-session discussion, Council will enter closed session for legal matters and will return to open session before adjournment.
