We always appreciate the support of partners to enhance student learning opportunities. Thank you to the National FFA Foundation and AES!

Today we were recognized for receiving a grant through the National FFA Foundation and AES. The funds from the grant will be used to purchase a floral cooler to allow students to practice their floriculture skills and start a small floral business!

Our annual plant sale is open tomorrow and again Tuesday, May 12 - Friday, May 15 from 8:30 - 2:30.

We have hanging baskets, patio pots, and 6-packs of veggies.

$5 - 6-pack of veggies
$15 - small flower containers

As we prepare for our Student Awards Ceremony next week, it's important to also share the impact and support we receive from our Advisory members throughout the year.

Blake Borgman, this year's outstanding student in Automotive, received this tool box donated by Fremont Napa owner, Kate Hansen. Thanks Kate for your continued partnership and your support of our students, our Auto program and our communities!

Students from our Welding, Precision Machining, Graphics, and HVAC programs at the Newaygo County Career Tech Center represented us extremely well at this year’s Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society (MITES) Regional Competition. Nearly all of the projects we entered have advanced and will compete at the MITES State Competition this week!

The State Competition is open to the public:
Oakland Expo Center – Waterford, Michigan
Thursday, May 8 | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday, May 9 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are incredibly proud of our students and their hard work, professionalism, and outstanding performance. Come out and support them as they represent our programs at the state level!

Accounting students have been hard a work creating their presentations for their Portrait of Graduate experiences that they will share out next week to advisory members. They enjoyed doing peer edits and receiving feedback and having conversations during their dining experience in Culinary. It's been exciting to see what pictures and experiences they have used to help create their story of their journey this year in Accounting.
