Center for Nonprofit Housing The Center for Nonprofit Housing is a TrueNorth community service that provides home buyer services, How do we do this?

CNH is committed to ensuring all members of our community have access to quality, affordable housing, one home at a time. By providing superior coaching to our clients in all aspects of their financial lives. CNH provides:
-Homebuyer education (both in group settings and one-on-one coaching)
-Homebuyer assistance programs
-Student loan debt coaching
-Credit/budget/financial capability coaching and

classes
-Foreclosure prevention coaching

However, CNH is not just a counseling agency - we are an economic development promotion agency for all of Newaygo County. CNH is certified with multiple federal and state agencies, including:
-U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
-Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA)
-USA Cares and Boots Across America (Military/Veteran assistance groups)
-National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program (NFMC)
-National Industry Standards group (NIS) for homeownership counseling
-Center for Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM)

CNH is a proud supporter of the NeighborWorks organization, which provides numerous programs to help people across the range of homeownership, from first-time homebuying to refinancing to foreclosure prevention.
