SCAM ALERT: We have been notified that individuals impersonating library staff are calling community members saying they qualify for an offer and asking for personal information that we would never ask for. Please remember that if an unsolicited caller asks for personal info:
1. Hang up immediately.
2. Do not trust caller ID: Scammers can impersonate real phone numbers.
3. Ignore pressure and threats: Legitimate companies and government agencies will not threaten arrest or demand immediate payment.
4. Call back independently: If you think the call might be real, hang up and call the official number listed on the organization's verified website.

Did you know we have 26 people waiting for just one copy of Theo of Golden on Libby right now? 🤯When you finish an ebook or audiobook early, don’t let it sit on your digital shelf! Returning it early is a super quick way to be a good neighbor and make another reader's day. Plus, when you return a title early in Libby, you get a fun little flower bouquet celebration on your screen. 💐

Here's how to return your book early:
1. Open the Libby app and tap your Shelf (the book icon at the bottom).
2. Tap Loans at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Manage Loan next to the book you just finished.
4. Tap Return Early, then confirm by tapping Return Loan.

📌 Quick note for our Kindle readers: To fully release your hold for the next person, make sure to return the book through your Amazon account under "Manage Your Content and Devices" or directly inside your Kindle app!

Happy reading!

We've had an excellent number of survey responses already, so this survey will close at the end of this week. Thank you to everyone who has already responded!

📣Exciting changes are coming to the library, and we want your input! Early 2027, the library will move forward with an interior design project to refresh its public spaces. We are currently in the planning phases and the design team would love to hear from you, so please take our survey here (link in the comments) or at the front desk of the library!

The library's last renovation was over 26 years ago, when our current library building opened. This exciting project is designed to improve high-traffic areas, transform underused spaces, and enhance the overall library experience by focusing on community and accessibility.

Planned improvements will be determined in the coming months with community input. More information on updates will be forthcoming, and we pledge to keep you fully informed of our progress on our website's Library Refresh Project page (link in comments) and through the library's social media pages. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Library Director Jackilyn Roseberry at [email protected].

We are grateful for your support as we work toward creating a more welcoming, accessible, and inspiring space for Fremont Area District Library. 💙
