STEM Camp at MCC for Newaygo County 4-H Youth -
As the academic school year winds down, Muskegon Community College is inviting first through eighth grade students to beat the mid-summer heat with STEM camp, MCC’s hands-on learning and discovery workshop at the Sturrus Technology Center. A two-weeks long youth retreat, MCC’s STEM Camp offers an engaging opportunity for kids to dive into science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive, age-appropriate activities that are both educational and fun. Sessions will run over two weeks: July 6 – 9, 2026, for Week 1, and July 13- 16 for Week 2. Each day offers an AM session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and a PM session from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
The cost is $85 per class and includes t-shirt, class cost, snacks and lunch. Newaygo County 4-H is offering 4 full scholarships to cover the cost of the classes for 4-H youth to attend STEM CAMP on a first come, first served basis. One scholarship per 4-H member. Contact Laurie Platte Breza, 4-H Program Coordinator, at [email protected] if you are interested.
