🎀 Red Ribbon Week is here! What is Red Ribbon Week?

Observed October 23–31, Red Ribbon Week brings families, schools, and communities together to raise awareness about substance use prevention and encourage healthy choices.

This year’s theme is “Make A Difference. Be A Hero. Stay Drug Free.™” 🦸‍♀️

At Center for Prevention Services, we know prevention starts with connection, listening to young people, building coping skills, and creating spaces where they feel supported. 🫂

Join us this Red Ribbon Week by starting a conversation, sharing a resource, or being someone a young person can count on

CPS joined community partners at the Region 4 Tobacco-Free Alliance Meeting to connect, share updates, and explore ways to strengthen to***co prevention efforts across our region 🤝

Together, we learned more about QuitlineNC and youth va**ng cessation resources, discussed ways to connect people with support, and explored strategies for engaging community partners💙💚

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside others working toward a to***co-free future!

A toast to community and connection! 🍷💙

We enjoyed gathering at Frenchy’s Sip & Shop for a guided w**e tasting, great conversations, and a chance to share more about Center for Prevention Services and our work supporting youth and families.

A special thank-you to Chris Sarette and the Frenchy’s team for helping make the evening possible, to our board member Jason Swist for bringing us together, and to everyone who joined us!

We look forward to more opportunities to connect and build stronger communities together.
