New Home Owners Organization

New Home Owners Organization Bobbi Meredith Executive Director of New Home Owners Organization, A 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on empowerment, advocacy, and community. Those years changed me.

Our non-profit NHOO serves as a bridge — connecting people with education, resources, compassionate support, and community partnerships that promote housing stability, financial empowerment, and aging in place. NHOO is committed to improving quality of life by empowering individuals and families through education, advocacy, and community-based solutions

A message from Bobbi:

"People often ask me why I founded NHOO. The answer isn't found in a single moment. It was shaped over a lifetime of serving others and recognizing the gaps that too many individuals and families face. My career began in law enforcement, where I spent fifteen years serving my community. During that time, I witnessed people at some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I learned that behind every crisis was a person, a family, and a story. Later, as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator and Branch Manager of my mortgage company, Exodus Lending Solutions, I had the privilege of helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership. It was rewarding work, but it also opened my eyes to another reality. Many hardworking families had the desire to own a home but lacked access to the education, resources, and guidance needed to get there. Then life became deeply personal. For ten years, I had the privilege of caring for my mother as she aged. Like so many family caregivers, I tried to balance everything at once — working full-time, raising my daughter, managing our household, and making sure my mother received the care she deserved. Along the way, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find compassionate, dependable, and affordable in-home care. They taught me that helping someone purchase a home is only part of the journey. Equally important is helping them remain safely, independently, and with dignity in the home they love. True independence doesn't mean facing life alone. It means having the right people walking alongside you. That realization became the foundation for NHOO — the New Home Owners Organization. Today, NHOO has grown beyond its original purpose of preparing families for homeownership. We are building pathways that help individuals and families build, preserve, and thrive at home through education, financial empowerment, aging-in-place initiatives, workforce development, and community partnerships. Every family we serve reminds me why this mission matters. Every senior who is able to remain at home, every caregiver who is empowered to make a difference, and every family that achieves greater stability reinforces the calling that God has placed on my life. This isn’t simply the work we do; it is the mission we have been entrusted to steward. Throughout every chapter of my life, I have seen God’s hand preparing me for work I did not yet understand. What once appeared to be separate experiences — law enforcement, mortgage lending, caring for my mother, and serving seniors — were all preparing me for one calling: to help people build, preserve, and thrive at home. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and excited for what God continues to unfold through NHOO."

💳 Personal Loan or Credit Card?
Which one makes more sense for you?

The right choice depends on what you’re borrowing for, how much you need, and how quickly you plan to pay it back.

A personal loan may offer fixed payments and potentially lower interest rates, while a credit card can provide flexibility and convenience.

Before you borrow, take a moment to compare your options and understand the total cost. 💰

Helping Seniors Stay Where They Call Home

Because of the generosity of our supporters and community partners, the New Home Owners Organization (NHOO) is making a real difference in the lives of local seniors.

In the month of July alone, NHOO funded over 206 hours of in-home care for seniors who needed support but faced financial barriers.

Those 206+ hours represent more than care.

They represent:
Independence.
Dignity.
Peace of mind for families.
The opportunity for seniors to age safely and comfortably in the place they call home.

For many older adults, the choice isn't whether they want to remain at home, it's whether they can afford the support that makes it possible.

That's where NHOO steps in.

Every donation helps us continue providing access to compassionate in-home care for seniors in our community who might otherwise go without the assistance they need.

Will you help us provide the next 206 hours of care?

Your gift no matter the amount helps a senior remain safe, independent, and surrounded by the comfort of home.

Together, we can make aging in place possible for even more families.

Every community deserves access to compassionate care, trusted resources, and opportunities to thrive.

At New Home Owners Organization (NHOO), our work is guided by four commitments that move individuals and families from challenge to hope.

Expanding Access to Quality In-Home Care
We help seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they call home through compassionate, personalized in-home care.

Building Community Partnerships
We believe lasting impact happens through collaboration. By working alongside healthcare providers, nonprofits, community leaders, and local organizations, we connect families with the resources they need to improve their health, stability, and quality of life.

Creating Pathways to Affordable Care
Everyone deserves access to quality care. Through grant opportunities, community support, and innovative programs, we're helping make in-home care more accessible for individuals and families facing financial barriers.

Investing in the Caregiver Workforce
Exceptional care begins with exceptional caregivers. Through the Home Helpers Home Care Academy, we're committed to developing compassionate, well-trained professionals who are equipped to make a meaningful difference every day.

These commitments reflect more than what we do. They represent why we do it.

Together, we're building stronger communities, supporting healthier lives, and creating hope for the future.

We don't just identify problems. We work to close the gaps that keep people from thriving.

Too many individuals and families face barriers to homeownership, access to care, financial education, and opportunities that can change their future. Those challenges are real, but so are the solutions when organizations, partners, and communities come together.

Our mission is simple:
Closing the gap. Ensuring compassionate care is within reach for every family.

We do that by connecting families with resources, empowering caregivers with opportunities, and building partnerships that create stronger, healthier communities.
