1Sam 18:1 speaks about how Jonathan and David's hearts and souls were knit together in a covenant of God's love. And that the two of them loved each other as his own soul. What a wonderful relationship between these two men of God. Jonathan stripped himself of his armor and garments and gave it to David as an act of him becoming one with Gods anointing that was upon David's life. The Cowboy and Indian movies i watched as a boy showed the Indian blood brother covenant through the cutting of the wrist and rubbing them together. God's word is filled with his knowledge of what covenant is, and how it is to be honored and operated in. Understanding covenant based upon God's word will disarm strife and put to rest any and every strategy of of the evil one satan.

As born again believers we must not allow the definition of the world's greatness to taint our inherit greatness of our covenant redeemer. You are not a copy of the world, you are an original from the all knowing, all seeing, ever present, ALL MIGHTY GOD.
