Hawthorne Academy will create a learning community where there is success for all. Hawthorne Academy is a school in CMS, that serves students from grades 9-12 seeking careers in health science, military, global leadership, and public safety. Our Special Features:

Option of dual enrollment at

CPCC (9th & 10th Grade)

Hands on medical field experience through job shadowing and internships (11th & 12th Grade)

Conferences and Symposiums offered through local universities (e.g. Brody School of Medicine Pre-medical Conference)

Small class sizes (8:1) with a career-focused education

Highest graduation rate increase in CMS

Advanced Placement (AP) certified teachers

Provide additional learning opportunities during the school day

Health Science, College, and Career Fairs

Virtual Public School course offerings
