Pawsitive for Heroes Graduation with our friends with Niagara County Sheriff. Our dogs have been inside the facility since September 3, 2025. They have been handed over to their forever Veterans and from here will continue working with our team for the next 6mos. These amazing dogs will be serving and assisting with their

We will be transporting them from Lakeview Shock Camp Facility where they are currently undergoing obedience.

Well, they made it. One more day to go and it’s graduation. Yes, all dogs will walk the room with their caps on and vests. It has definitely been a long 13months for sure. We will be taking a well deserved break and begin taking in new pups end of November. We brought the in with us for the last weeks to get them acquainted with their new dog.

Thank you to our friends at Niagara County Sheriff Office for your continued support and allowing us to provide the most amazing thing on four legs to Veterans.

Sunday mornings are filled with narcotics training and followed up with bite work. Always love watching these two Nina Rose, Marcus Floyd with Chief (dog) getting some training in.

Another afternoon of training at the Walden Galleria Mall. Thank you to the security staff for ambushing our “Jerry” and putting him to the challenge. Wait, this was a set up by us as we wanted to see how Jerry would handle this approach as well as how his service dog “Mooch”, one of our amazing Rottweilers would handle seeing a new dog.

Short story, they all did GREAT! We had security ask why he needed a service dog? Show proof he is a service dog. State that he looks fine and doesn’t seem to need a service dog. All just to see how Jerry would handle himself while remembering he also has a service dog with him.

17th Annual Red, White & Blue Charity Gala, presented by New Era Cap Foundation. Hosted with our friends from Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Just under four weeks to go for the big evening. Army Veteran Jerry Morgan just arrived last night from LA to start training with his new service dog “Mooch”. We have had Mooch since she was nine weeks old. She has been inside the correctional facility since September 3, 2025. She will be officially graduating out of Niagara County Correctional next Wednesday, October 28 at 11 AM. 
In the meantime, we’ve pulled Mooch from the facility till graduation to allow him to start working with her. He will return home to LA with his forever service dog on November 5th.

The countdown is ON for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, and we're excited to share that WNYHeroes will be featured on Channel 4 TODAY at 4 PM!

Ｏｎ Ｎｏｖｅｍｂｅｒ １, four incredible individuals will take on 26.2 miles through the streets of New York City, proudly representing WNYHeroes and raising funds for our Pawsitive for Heroes service dog program.
