DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Active Firefighter and Life Member Anthony “Tony” Rogacki of Hook & Ladder Company #1, Depew Volunteer Fire Department.
Tony was a dedicated 35-year member and a proud third-generation firefighter, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father. He was a deeply valued member of our fire service family and will be remembered for his commitment, leadership, and service to our community.
Tony is the brother of 40-year active member and Past Assistant Chief Timothy Rogacki; uncle of Captain Andrew Rogacki; great-uncle of Firefighter Landyn Rogacki and Junior Firefighter Hudsyn Rogacki; and cousin of Exempt Life Member Gerald Rogacki, all of Hook & Ladder Company #1.
Throughout his years of service, Tony held several important roles within the department, including Sergeant-at-Arms, Vice President, and Council Delegate (Warden). He was also a longtime member of the department’s chicken barbecue committee. Outside of the fire service, Tony dedicated over 30 years of service to the Town of Lancaster Department of Public Works, from which he retired.
We ask that you keep the Rogacki family and the members of Hook & Ladder Company #1 in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Arrangements for Brother Anthony Rogacki will be shared as they become available.
“Once a Hook, Always a Hook.”

Respectfully,

Chief Brian M. Musielak
President Robert Murawski
Assistant Chief John Hughey
Vice President Norbert Rzeszutek
