Doing what we love! Serving our neighbors in need. ❤️

Seven nights a week, our team goes out to serve hot meals to people experiencing homelessness in our community. But what we’re serving is about so much more than food.

It’s an opportunity to build relationships, earn trust, and show Christ’s love through our actions. We want those we meet to know they are seen, valued, and loved.

Our hope is that, over time, those relationships will open the door for us to invite someone into one of our programs, where they can find hope, healing, restoration, and a path toward getting off the streets permanently.

A hot meal meets an immediate need. A relationship can open the door to a changed life. 🙏

They took time to tour the Rescue Mission, learn more about our ministry, and hear about the work happening every day to serve individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and difficult seasons.

Join Western Carolina Rescue Ministries for our 2026 Perfect Love Gala on Saturday, September 26th as we celebrate 45 years of God’s faithfulness and the lives transformed through WCRM!

Today’s lunch looks absolutely delicious…stuffed peppers, braised cabbage, and a whole lot of love! 🫑🥬❤️

A huge thank you to Angie, the ladies in our overnight shelter program and Nash for cooking and serving this amazing meal to our guests today. Your generosity, time, and willingness to serve mean so much to our ministry and to the people we have the privilege of serving.
