The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), represented by Vice Chair Juan “Johnny” Revilla, shared the Agency’s Responsableng Panonood Program at the “Swipe Right, Think Right – Matalinong Paggamit ng Media, Ligtas na Pamilya” of the City of Malabon University (CMU) on Wednesday, 28 October 2026.

The activity is part of the MTRCB’s collaboration with its stakeholders in the education sector in promoting responsible viewing and media literacy among parents and the Filipino youth.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has begun its inspection of transport terminals in different parts of Metro Manila to ensure that operators of public utility vehicles (PUVs) comply with content regulations.

Personnel of the MTRCB’s Legal Affairs Division – Monitoring and Inspection Unit (LAD-MIU) will visit transport hubs until Thursday, October 29, 2026 to remind PUV operators and drivers that they should only screen only G (General Audience) and PG (Parental Guidance) rated content.

The on-the-spot inspections are part of the Agency’s mandate to promote age-appropriate and responsible viewing in public spaces like buses, where families and children are likely to be present.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) was the overall champion in the first-ever “Rated PG: Dink Responsibly,” an inter-agency pickleball tournament held last 16 and 17 October 2026 in Quezon City.

Participating government agencies were the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), and the Quezon City Screen Commission (Screen QC).
