The friendship 🤝🏻 between the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 and the Kingdom of Cambodia 🇰🇭 has endured for seven decades because it has never stood still.

Cambodia and the Czech Republic celebrated seven decades of diplomatic relations alongside Czech National Day, with both countries pledging to deepen their friendship through stronger trade, investment, education, and people-to-people ties.

Přesně před 108 lety vznikl samostatný československý stát.

28. říjen 1918 se stal jedním z nejvýznamnějších dnů našich dějin. 🇨🇿 Připomínáme si odvahu a odhodlání těch, kteří stáli u zrodu republiky, i hodnoty svobody, demokracie a státnosti, na nichž náš stát stojí dodnes.

Exactly 108 years ago, the independent Czechoslovak state was founded.

28 October 1918 became one of the most significant dates in our history. 🇨🇿 Today, we honor the courage and determination of those who laid the foundations of our republic and reflect on the values of freedom, democracy, and statehood that continue to define our nation to this day.

Scholarships call for the following year was extremely competitive 💪🏻 with over 1000 applications, more than double the number from last year 📈

The group we selected for further proceedings is the top 2% 🤩

Today, we had the first orientation meeting to explain which documents 🗂 they need to prepare in the coming months 🗓

Congratulations to successful candidates 👏🏼 and fingers crossed 🤞🏻 for the further steps.

Following his meeting at UHS, professor Zima, the rector of Charles University 📚 in Prague 🇨🇿 paid a visit to National Pediatric Hospital 🏥 in Phnom Penh 🇰🇭 to learn about the Czech Aid project supporting perinatal care and discuss possibilities for cooperation in training of physicians 🩺

Professor Jiří Zima, Rector of the Charles University 📚 in Prague 🇨🇿 has visited the University of Health Sciences 🩺 in Phnom Penh 🇰🇭 to discuss possibilities of cooperation 🤝🏻 between both universities and to learn about Czech Aid project at UHS aiming at biomedical engineering ⚙️

Field day 🌱 organized by the SmartAgri Cambodia team with our support was a great success. All the visitors including H.E. Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, could see and operate various Czech smart solutions for Cambodian fields.
