Our Play Therapy Program provides a safe, supportive, and child-centered environment where children can work through challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation, life transitions, social difficulties, and more!

Program Highlight: Bright Starts

Bright Starts is a free program designed to support families from pregnancy through the early years. We provide guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to help your child grow, learn, and thrive.

Through Bright Starts, families can access:
🌿 Support with child development and parenting strategies
🧠 Information about milestones, routines, and behaviour
🤝 One-on-one support and/or group programming
💛 Connections to community resources
🍎 Free lunch during group sessions + a meal in a bag to take home
🚗 Help with transportation to and from group

Our goal is simple: to help children get the best possible start in life while supporting caregivers every step of the way.

We’re excited to share that Bright Starts — our CAPCHP program — is available for families in our community! We meet in Port Hope, Cobourg & Campbellford Bi-Weekly.

Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
Location: Carstairs Trail in Northumberland Forest
Address: 1270-1296 Bowmanton Rd, Roseneath.
Meet the Educator and lots of parents and babes there for a wonderful walk and talk together in nature! The trail is not stroller friendly in the winter months, it is recommended to bring a baby carrier or baby sled, whatever is best for you! Meet us at the entrance in the parking lot and we are on our way by 10:10am.

If you have an infant ages 0-12 months and would like to become a participant of the New Parent Program please see the information in the flyer on how to register. We welcome you to join us!

Well, that's a wrap! Although we had a few friends away today and the weather was gloomy, it did not stop us from having a blast in our final session of our Keys to Kindergarten Program this morning.

The children had so much fun celebrating their successes and were so proud of all of their hard work!

Join our LEGO Social Skills Group — a fun and engaging 6-week program where children can strengthen social skills through collaborative LEGO activities, creative play, and guided interaction. Participants will have opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, problem-solving, turn-taking, flexibility, and building friendships in a supportive environment.
