For the second year in a row, PHPL welcomed our Kid Librarians for the summer! 📚✨

Each participant got a behind-the-scenes look at library life—exploring library duties, learning how books are organized and displayed, and sharing their love of reading with others. 🏛️📖

They also curated special book displays featuring their favourite reads and recommendations for the community to enjoy, AND created their own bookmarks! 🌟

A big thank-you to Emme, Antoine, Anette, Emory and Amara for helping make it a great summer at PHPL! 💙

Participants learned about the important role insects play in our world and built their very own bug hotels to take home. What a fun way to support local pollinators and biodiversity! 🐝🦋

We were thrilled to welcome more than 80 visitors for this amazing program. Everyone learned about wildlife rescue, local animals, and ways we can help protect wildlife in our community. 🌿💚
