Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services joins communities around the world in remembering the courageous men and women who answered the call that day and those who lost their lives. We honour the courage and sacrifice of first responders and recognize all those who continue to carry the impacts of that day.

The flags at our fire stations will remain lowered throughout the weekend as a sign respect for the fallen and in remembrance of all those affected.
