Temporary Weekday Closure Notice/Aviso de cierre temporal entre semana

Play4All Park will be closed Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3, for repairs to the poured-in-place surfacing under the playground area. The closure is limited to weekdays only and will not affect weekend use.

A recent rattlesnake sighting at Fire Station 76 is a reminder that rattlesnake and tick season has begun in our area.

As temperatures warm up, these hazards become more active in parks, trails, and open spaces. Staying aware and taking simple precautions can help keep you, your family, and your pets safe.

- Stay on designated trails and avoid tall grass
- Keep pets on a leash
- Check yourself, children, and pets for ticks after outdoor activities
- Give wildlife plenty of space
- Never attempt to approach or handle a snake

If you encounter a rattlesnake, remain calm, keep your distance, and allow it to move away on its own.

The weather is looking perfect for race day, and there’s still time to sign your kids up for the Vaca Tri Youth Triathlon!

Designed for ages 7–14, this fun and supportive event gives young athletes the chance to swim, bike, and run their way to the finish line in a safe, supervised environment. It’s a great way to build confidence, stay active, and have an unforgettable day of fun!

Calling all young athletes! Give your kids a boost of confidence and a day of high-energy fun at the Vaca Tri Youth Triathlon. Designed for ages 7–14, this event provides a safe, supervised environment for kids to swim, bike, and run their way to the finish line!

Wednesday, May 27 from 5:30–7:00 PM at the City of Vacaville Teen Center (2198 Nut Tree Rd — between Vaca Peña Middle School and Nelson Park)!

Come check out the space, meet the Teens program staff, and learn all about summer hours, activities, and upcoming programs. You can also register for summer entry and other teen programs while you're here. This is a great opportunity for new students or anyone who’s been curious to see everything the Teen Center has to offer for summer and after-school fun.
