Mychal Threets is coming to Fairfield and he's bringing his friends Joanna Ho, Kaylani Juanita and Jeff Kinney with him!
That's right! Join Mychal Threets—author, former Solano County Library librarian, and Reading Rainbow host—for a joyful talk celebrating the power of libraries and stories that help children see themselves and the world with kindness, pride, and imagination. A book signing with Mychal will follow the presentation.
Joining Mychal for the talk, will be featured guests:
Jeff Kinney - New York Time bestselling author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
Kaylani Juanita - award-winning illustrator of Magnificent Homespun Brown and the Stonewall Award–winning book, When Aidan Became a Brother.
Joanna Ho - New York Times–bestselling author of Eyes That Kiss in the Corners.
Free tickets will be available beginning Saturday, January 24 at 9am.
Tickets are first come, first served at all Solano County Library locations.
Limit one (1) ticket per person.
Each person must be present to pick up their own ticket.😀
Tickets may not be picked up for someone else.
All ticketed attendees will receive free books at the author event.
