ACEC California is dedicated to enhancing the consulting engineering and land surveying professions, protecting the general public and promoting the use of the private sector in the growth and development of our state. Congratulations to Ventura County Public Works Agency on being named the ACEC National National/National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) 2026 QBS Award Winner! 🏆

After earning recognition as ACEC California's 2026 QBS Champion, Ventura County has now received national honors for its outstanding commitment to Qualifications-Based Selection. This recognition reflects the County's leadership in advancing QBS and selecting the most qualified firms to deliver critical public infrastructure projects.

California Engineers and Surveyors say vote NO on Prop 45!

California Engineers and Surveyors Announce Opposition to Prop. 45, Warn It Would Delay Roads, Water and School Projects and Drive Up Costs!

ACEC California, which represents more than 400 engineering and land surveying firms and nearly 26,000 professionals, says is being promoted to voters as a way to build faster, but a little-noticed provision could do the opposite by severely limiting the pool of qualified inspectors, creating a workforce bottleneck that threatens project delivery.
