Our 5th-grade scientists recently got creative with blow art while exploring the science behind force and motion! 🌈🧪
Using straws to blow paint across paper, students discovered how the force of moving air can make paint move in different directions and create unique patterns. By changing the strength and direction of their breath, they could observe how the paint’s motion changed!

Our activity connects to Tennessee Science Standard 5.PS2.4, which focuses on using patterns to predict future motion.
